The 1952 proof of record florin was produced as a representation piece of the 1952 florin along side the 1952 specimen strike. The proof can be distinguished by a slightly softer strike central strike and more intense mirrored surfaces while the specimen striking has a sharper strike but a dulled semi-brilliant finish. Both pieces can be considered rare with fewer than 10 pieces between them but with no recent market appearances, very little can be done to estimate their value.
