The 1923 Threepence was struck at the Melbourne Mint with a total mintage of 815,283. The reverse features the W.H.J. Blakemore Coat of Arms and the obverse houses Sir E. B. MacKennel's effigy of King George V. The mintage was relatively low for for the series which is reflected in the types value. Collectors seeking a mint-state example would be required to pay a small fortune.
